Spirit T-shirts Minimize

On Friday's of each week Students are allowed to wear their FCA Spirit T-shirt to show their school pride. You can download an order form below .

 

Uniform Policy Minimize

All students are required to wear FCA uniform shirts. FCA uniform shirts are sold through the school office only. Shirts are available in both long sleeve and short sleeve, in multiple colors. Pants/Skirts must be khaki, black, or navy blue. On Chapel Days, shirts must be tucked in and a solid color leather belt worn if there are belt loops. Jeans with no adornment may be worn on Friday.

Because of PE and recess, students must wear closed in athletic shoes.

 

Dress Code: Uniforms 

1.      FCA uniform shirts are sold through the school office only. Shirts are available in both long sleeve and short
         sleeve, in multiple colors.

2.      Only FCA sweat shirts are allowed. The FCA uniform shirt must be worn underneath. No other sweat shirts,
         jackets or ponchos will be worn in class. During cooler weather, solid color turtlenecks or long sleeve shirts may
         be worn underneath.


3.      Only FCA cardigan sweaters or hooded jackets may be worn in class and are available through the school office.
         Non-school jackets must be left in the locker during school hours.

4.      Pant and skirt guidelines are as follows:
           ·   Solid color khaki, navy blue or black pants are acceptable.
         ·   Solid color khaki, navy blue or back capris are also acceptable.
         ·   Shorts are allowed under specified guidelines (Dickie’s or French Toast).
         ·   Shirts must be tucked in and leather black or brown belts worn if there are belt loops.
               The only exception to belts is K-4 children.

         ·   Girls may wear the Dickie’s or French Toast full-length skirts (below the knee or longer).
                No mini-skirts allowed! Please wear shorts under skirts.

         ·   Cargo pants or cargo skirts are not allowed.
         ·   During cooler months, solid color leggings or tights may be worn. No ornamentation please.
         ·   Jeans may be worn on Friday as long as they fit properly and don’t have holes in them. 
               No ornamentation please.
 

5.      Shoes:
         ·   Because of recess and PE, students in K-4 through 6th grade must wear closed in athletic shoes. 
                They cannot have wheels.

         ·   Socks must be worn with shoes. 

6.      Other Dress Code items:
           ·   Boys are not allowed to wear earrings.
           ·   Any and all items regarding the dress/uniform code are at the discretion of the principal.
         ·   Tattoos of any kind are not allowed.
         ·   Any book bags, lunch boxes, kites, etc. with Pokémon, Harry Potter, or anything else representing
               “witchcraft” or “spiritism” is unacceptable on the school campus.

         ·   "Punk" hairdos, "hair tails" on boys, etc. are not allowed. 

Dress Code (on non-uniform dates only) 

1.      Students who are improperly dressed detract from the Christian influence desired at FCA. Therefore, students are
         asked to exemplify their Christian witness in their choice of apparel.
 

2.      Girls may wear mid-knee length dresses, mid-knee length shorts, or pants.  Boys may wear mid-knee length
         shorts or pants.
 

3.      Students should not wear spaghetti strap dresses, halter tops, crop tops, shirts with “cut out” sleeves, tank tops
         or shirts with inappropriate slogans.  Students should not wear clothing or accessories that represent secular
         music groups or other inappropriate groups. Shirts must fit loosely and modestly! Shirts must cover all skin in
         all positions!

4.      Any clothing with Pokemon, Harry Potter, or anything else representing “witchcraft” or “spiritism” is unacceptable.

5.      Students who are inappropriately dressed may be required to wait in the school office until a change of clothing is
         brought for them and may be given a detention. 
 

6.      Shoes: Students must wear closed in athletic shoes and socks. They cannot have wheels.
